Profile

I am François HAUET, a final-year student at the computer science school Epitech.

I am looking for new opportunities in the field of functional IT in Switzerland, Haute-Savoie, or Lyon.

I will describe my educational background as well as my various professional experiences.

Education

I am in the final year of my studies at the computer science school Epitech. I will graduate in a few months with the title of IT expert after 5 years of study. During my course, I have acquired numerous technical skills:

- In web: PHP (Drupal, Symfony), ReactJS, VueJS
- In mobile: Flutter and React Native
- In low-level languages: C and C++

My 5 years at Epitech have taught me how to work in teams, manage projects, and develop my communication skills.

For my 4th year of studies, I spent a year at Laurea University in Helsinki, Finland. During this year, I consolidated my technical knowledge, especially in cybersecurity. I was able to develop my project management and English skills, particularly by working with students from different backgrounds and cultures.

During my academic journey, I have obtained technical certifications and I am currently training to pass the CAPM certification in the coming weeks.

Professional

Leyton

I am currently doing an apprenticeship/final internship until the end of September 2024 as a junior IPBOX consultant at the consulting firm Leyton. My role involves assisting software publishers in their process to benefit from the French IPBOX tax regime. I analyze the intellectual approach related to the creation of the software, then I evaluate the eligible expenses and revenues before drafting the technical document to be sent to the tax authorities.

This very enriching experience has allowed me to acquire skills in the following areas:

  • Communication with clients
  • Writing, particularly for the technical document
  • Technical skills, through mastering Excel to evaluate expenses and revenues
  • Client portfolio management
  • Accounting

Capgemini

In 2022, during my studies at Epitech, I did a five-month internship at Capgemini in Lyon as a Business Analyst assistant. I joined a team of six developers, a project manager, and a business analyst. Our project was to create a website for Renault Trucks drivers. My role in this group was to assist the Business Analyst in writing user stories, participate in all client meetings, and manage the project's testing policy.

This experience allowed me to better understand the functioning of various agile methods, learn how to manage a complete testing policy, develop project management skills, and discover the basics of the Business Analyst role.

In addition to this internship, I was also a “student ambassador” for Capgemini during the 2021/2022 academic year. Thanks to this experience, I was able to lead and create numerous conferences at my school in collaboration with Capgemini.

Kursus

Since January 2023, I have been co-director of Kursus, a social media outlet specializing in content creation around music. Our goal is to promote emerging artists so that a new audience can discover them. We create content daily, mainly on Instagram, and we also handle communication for some events or artists.

In 2024, we managed the entire artistic direction of a project for the artist Sly Leers, including the design of the cover, the production of the clip, and the visualizers. You can discover this project by clicking here.

Taker

In 2021, during my second year of studies, I decided to go through the recruitment process to become a project manager at my school's junior enterprise, Taker.

As a project manager, my goal was to find assignments, form a team suited to the needs of the mission, and support the client and the developer to ensure the mission's success.

Enjoying my experience at Taker greatly and wanting to invest more, I decided to apply to join the board as the head of partnerships and events. I joined Taker's board in July 2021 for the 2021/2022 term.

During my term, I strengthened our partnership with Capgemini by creating events reserved for members of the structure, allowing several students to join Capgemini for their internship. I also established a new partnership with Société Générale, giving students access to new training and various events.

As a member of the Board, we worked together to allow the structure to join the Junior-Enterprises movement.

My experience at Taker allowed me to develop numerous project management skills and business management skills through my role on the board.
